Only Two Days Left.

Ert15 Another Erte.

Good Evening, not been out much today as it has been very cold never getting above freezing all day.  I walked round for a paper this morning for Stuart but that was it and  Stuart walked to the post box this afternoon and that was plenty for him.

We we at the hospital yesterday to see about Stuart's leg that has been giving him so much pain these last few years so at last they are going to do something about it.  The blood flow is not not good at all in his right leg and his left is not much better so after some other tests the doctor recons it will be angioplasty for both legs, I think it is also called Stints. Hopefully it will take all the pain away as he is a great walker as you know and this has become so much worse in the last few months it is restricting him so much.  So now we wait for another appointment for the scan of his arteries.

We still have not seen the rest of the family over Christmas just a phone call last night to enquire about Stuart's hospital visit. I feel bad about this as we still have our only grand daughter parcels here waiting for all to be well.

It has been very quiet on my dashboard today wondering where everybody is maybe it will be busier after tea. That said better go and make a start on ours. till next time. Love ,

It has been a quiet day for our journalers. I hope the dash board is working ok. Makes one wonder when not many posts are being made.
It's just above freezing here today and a little peep of sun now and then. Of course I'm at work but I did get out at lunch time. By the time I get home again it will be dark. Hope Stuart gets the needed help for his legs. It does make it difficult when you like to get out and walk. I'm hoping my knees continue to feel ok when camping season begins again. They have been good for quite awhile now. That is when I love to get out and walk alot.

I am praying that Stuart gets the help he needs for his legs. I know only two well how compromising it can be when you cannot walk without pain. All the best to you both in 2009!

I have had family staying over Christmas Joan so have not been on-line as much.
It is bitterly cold here in the lakes. Yesterday it was -7.
The day before it was -13.
Not nice weather at all for going out in.
Sorry to hear that Stuart is going to need stents but I'm sure he will get much relief from them once he has had the operation. It can't be comfortable for him day or night to feel as he does at the moment.
I have only been out to do a quick bit of shopping yesterday and the village is packed with tourists coming here for the New Year. The shops were as queued out as they were at Christmas!
We will spend the New Year alone but are going to visit our son in Wolverhampton soon. So I won't be around for another wee while.
Meanwhile...have a Happy New Year together.
Hope 2009 is a healthier one too.
Hugs

Joan, I have quite lost track of what day it is. I've been keeping indoors as I have a raspy chest, and it's driving me mad! So quiet.
Wishing you both a very Happy New Year.
Love, Bunny xx

Sorry to hear about Stuart. They call them stents in the US, and they do help enormously. I'm sure you will be so happy when you get to see your family. Hoping you and Stuart and all have a happy and healthy 2009! xx

I hope Stuart can get the stents done soon, it'll make all the difference to him. I'm sorry you still haven't been able to give Ellen her present but it's best to wait till they're all clear of the flu. Have a wonderful new year Joan and Stuart! Jeannette xx
