Good evening still reeling a bit after last nights news about dear Sylvia it came as such a shock. The last I heard from her was just before Christmas last year just after she moved to a smaller house in a nice location and she was very pleased about it. She stopped writing in her lovely journal just after that and I wrongly assumed she had just stopped writing as she was so busy with her husband how wrong can I have been. She was such a lovely person and I loved reading her journal and seeing the pictures of the countryside around her we had a lot in common. It is sad we have not been able to salvage here journal from AOL as it would have been something lasting of her complete with all her poems.
I think that's it for tonight.Till next time Love Joan.

I agree Joan, that was the last really I heard, that she had moved and was very pleased about it. She did a posting or two after that and then just stopped. I thought nothing of it because she had often taken breaks before and I also thought maybe she had her hands full with Ron. After a while I assumed she had decided not to come back. None of us had any way of checking and there was nobody really who could tell us.
Had it not been for that research done on the net, we might never have known but at least she is not forgotten and has her place in J-Land Angels and a memorial tag with some snippets of her writing. She would be happy about that. Hugs.
I too felt the loss of dear Sylvia. She had finally got her new home and I thought things would be so much better for her. I can only hope they are now for eternity. Sad how we come to know each other and loose touch.

Another JLand Angel, how fortunate is our good God that He has such company as these. http://cathy-daretothink.blogspot.com/
That's the only down side of journaling . . . making friends who suddenly disappear with no explanation, and having no way to catch up with them and see if they are ok. MY Todd has instructions to let people know if anything ever happens to me. Sad to hear that Sylvia is gone. :-(
It's so sad to hear that Sylvia has gone. I only found out thorugh Cathy in the Pennines who let me know yesterday.
She has sent an e-mail to the Carers Association in Bucks that Sylvia was a part of. She will let me know if she hears back.
Rest In Peace Sylvia
With Love
Jeanie xx
I didn't know Sylvia but it sppears that many did. I saw that Guido was able to track down the blog somehow and that it's here on Blogger. He is a God send. xx
I was so sad when I got your email letting me know Sylvia had died. She was a lovely lady, one of the best. She never wavered in her devotion to Ron although he was so difficult to look after. So sad that nobody did an entry on her journal to let us know what had happened. I just hope that the family are taking carte of Ron now. Jeannette xx
Thankyou my dear, for letting me know about Sylvia. Such sad news.
