Sunny Sunday.

Good afternoon, hope you are all having a peaceful Sunday and a Happy Grandparents day. The weather here is beautiful a lovely autumn day with a high of 55f after a severe frost overnight all was white this morning, a really early frost for us up here in Scotland. It is still very quiet here in blog-land that sounds strange will get used to it. Someone wrote in their blog (Keep wanting to write Journal much nicer word) its not where we are it is who is here and I really believe that, it's the people that write here that makes it home.

Not much going on here today, all's quiet in the Joan and Stu's house today. Stuart has just finished painting the vestibule we had double glazed a couple of months ago so I will be able to get my plants back in there in a day or two once it dries off. The smell of the paint has been awful while he has been decorating out there. Stuart took his time with this job just a bit at a time so the paint smell has been ongoing for a few weeks unfortunately but that's it this time.

I can see a young neighbour across the road and his friend washing and polishing the cars. This happens most Sundays they have been at it for over two hours now and will continue for another hour at least. Their cars sparkle like diamonds, wish they would come over and do ours. That's it for today not much to say at all but I have updated my book blog its on

Till next time take care. Love

Joan.
Thanks to Missie for the tag.

Oh, Joan, it has been lashing it down all day here and the wind is so horrendous. Been so black it is like evening. I hate the smell of paint as well. Some say put half an onion where you are painting, to me that smells just as bad lol

Shalom my friend:
Right now we are recovering from our Shabbat :) But the sun is shining here in Virginia as well and we are having a nice, quiet day.

It stopped raining here about 2ish, just in time for me to take some pics of the band, then the sun came out and I wished I had waited but I think they will turn out okay. I've forgotten what a peaceful sunday is, LOL!!! Love Joan

Sounds like a very peacable and wonderful Sunday Joan! The girl next door often washes her car on a Sunday afternoon. It was absolutely horrible here yesterday weatherwise! I was quite glad to be indoors!

Sunday was very nice here. My car needs some kind of attention badly. It gets pretty bad sitting out at the campground on the weekends. 'On Ya' - ma

You just click on the bookcase and it goes there and from there it asks you if you want it on your blog.... it was easy for me but I can't get the weather or the Monet paintings on mine and I want them too...... oh well
