It's Wednesday (Over the Hump Day).

Good Evening,I feel that I have not sat down all day we seem to have been on the go all day up until now. This morning we had a brisk walk again, doing well this week, have not missed a day. After lunch we headed to Perth for our weekly shopping and to collect Ellen from school that done we headed home got stuck in a traffic jam again, because of roadworks again, on the same bit of road again, what else will they do to this bit of motorway, today they were laying chippy stones by the barrier in between the carriageways. Once we got home Stuart helped with Ellen's (aged 7 only) pile of homework while I made her tea. Daddy arrives to collect Ellen and chat to us (his parents). Around 6-30pm they head off we se them off wave etc.back in to cook our tea tidy up the kitchen and collapse into chair, another Wednesday done and dusted. I really enjoy having her but she is exhausting and very demanding. Love her to bits. How would I manage if I had any more grandchildren.
I really am not complaining just a bit overwrought tonight will soon be my old self again after a wee whisky and ginger.
Stuart is watching some football at the moment and I am watching over the top of my laptop Television Awards until 9 and them I will watch Silent Witness. I do love a thriller as anybody who read my book journal will tell you that. Will be off now journals to read hate the word blog (very common) am not comfortable with it at all do we have to use it? So till next time here today's My Picture of the Day.
Love Joan.

I always call mine a journal, I don't like the word blog either! Sounds like you had a full day with your shopping and Ellen. Kids can be exhausting, that's why we have them when we're young! Enjoy your programme, I've just done an entry on the birds of Madagascar if you want to see them! Jeannette xx

I have 11 grand children but none living near by. I see the 3 camping in the summer most of all but rarely see the others. Maybe it's good as I'd probably be tired out too...I can't help but wish though that they were close by sometimes. I'm with you on disliking the name blog and will still say journal too. After all that is what we are doing...writing in our journals.
The picture you put in seems to be glowing with fall color. 'On Ya'-ma

I also prefer journals. I agree that blog does sound common and unattractive but it is short for weblog. I do dislike it. If Ellen tires you out, you should try having our two for the afternoon, boys are much more hardwork than girls.

How did Stuart do with Ellens homework, sounds like you had a long day and a wee toddy sounded just the ticket. I watched the TV awards not too may surprises, Eastenders got best soap again, although I felt Hollyokes deserved the award.

Hi Joan ,I know what you mean about wearing you down.I havn't had my Grandchildren for the day for a while now.My family realise they are too much like hard work for me and tell me I have done my share when they were all small.Five of them He-He.I use the word blog because I thought people would want us to use that now.In future I shall say journal as I much prefer it too.I hope you have a nice restful day today whatever it brings ENJOY.The weather here is still so bitter this morning.Brrrr.I did another new posting yesterday.Thats the only fault I have with Blogger one gets sick of having to relay to people one has posted.I ggot quite afew e. mails yesterday telling me they had.I don't like this method I feel I am pushing myself onto people all the time Grrr.So I will see how things go.Angie from J/land and now Blogger rang me last night. "Can you hear me at the back 2 " so we chatted for England and before we knew where we were the time was quarter to ten LOL!! So evening over lets say.Have a lovely Thursday Take Care God Bless Kath xx
