Good Afternoon, Sitting watching Royal Ascot and the rain outside my lounge window nothing new there then. I had the result of my knee x-ray yesterday and was told there is a lack of space in my knee but they won't do anything about it. I have now managed to get an appointment with the physiotherapist for next Thursday so hopefully that will help. It does seem to getting a bit better by itself have been wearing a elastic stocking and taking anti-inflammatory tablets and the pain relief too, so all in all I am now able to walk up and down the stairs again like a grownup. With our bathroom and toilet being upstairs it has been a nightmare. Just picked the winner in one of the horse races at Royal Ascot pity I did not have a bet on it. Stuart has picked two winners today pity he did not have money on they either. The hats and dresses are looking fabulous as usual. That's about it for today so till next time . Love
Joan.

The hats are a hoot. It took my knee about a month to get better and now it doesn't hurt at all so hope yours continues to improve.

I too will continue to pray that the knee heals for you soon. Therapy may help, but generally it just takes time. We get so impatient when it comes to waiting for things like that. The hats remind me of what they do here at the Kentucky Derby but I think yours are on a grander scale. Isn't that the luck, that you'd win if you'd placed a bet. Take good care! 'On Ya'-ma

I picked a winner yesterday as well! Can't remember its name but whatever Johnny Murtagh was riding came in at 11-1. I'd no money on it either (I never do) but I secretly wished I'd had £1000 handy!

I think the hats are not as outrageous as they used to be but some of those women must be nearly frozen to death!

love. Angie, xx

The hats are amazing pieces of architecture Joan! I'm glad to hear your knee is getting better. Knees take a while to heal as they're weight bearing structures. My knee took nine months to heal enough to stop wobbling around and clicking last year! I hope the rain has stopped now. Jeannette xxxx
