A Wee Update.

Hi, thought I would pop up or a moment and let you know how I have been doing the last week or so. First of all I would like to say a great big thank you for all the kind thoughts prayers and good wishes. Since I last wrote in this journal I have been in hospital and out again, was having a lot of bother breathing so I had to get this fixed. Am still a long way from being ok and have been warned this is going to take a bit of time for me to be back up and running again. Have been reading journals when I can but my concentration is not great with all the pain killers I am taking at the moment. Stuart is doing a great job looking after me nothing is too much trouble for him, I am so lucky. Today we are waiting for our first online shop from Tesco, am really looking forward to that, Stuart could have managed to go but it meant he would have been away for about 2 hours and he did not want to leave me for this length of time at the moment. We have been meaning to try this method of shopping before this but the occasion did not arrive till now. Think thats about it for just now hope you are all well and thank you again for the support. Love
Joan.

Well, it's so good to hear from you, Joan. Even tho I don't know you, I find that I do care about you and want you to get better soon. It sounds like a wicked bug has attacked you, so you are lucky to have a nice husband to care for you. It sounds like you have ordered out for groceries; it's great that they have this service for you when you can't get out. Take care. Angel

Take it easy until you get truly on your feet.

We shop this way with Tesco every week.

It's great.

Good to see a post from you Jaon and that there is improvment which will continue i'm sure, you've had quite a lot of stress the last couple of months with the Bathroom and kitechen then the fall so it will take time. I've yet to try Tesco's online.

Take care

I'm glad you're out of hospital Joan. It sounds like you've been through the wars. Pneumonia does take time to get rid of and get the lungs working again. Stuart sounds like he's been an angel, I'm so glad you have him there to take care of you. Saying prayers that you'll be better soon. Jeannette xxxx

We often shop online with Asda, now they've started delivering in our area but before that we did Tescos. It's a Godsend isn't it and cheaper than a taxi home!

Get well soon.

I am so glad your home. You must have had a terrible case. You take care and let yourself be pampered. I hope the order our groceries went well. We used to have a service that did that. I was sorry to see it go for homebound people.

How lovely to hear that you are back home and convalescing under the caring ministrations of your dear hubby....and Tescos too!
I tried Tescos when I was going through my chemo etc and apart from the odd mistake... like ordering one crusty roll instead of six... among other little hiccups...lol! I found it great to use and a brilliant way of shopping when not well. My young neighbour uses Tescos every week for her shopping as it frees up more time for her family.
You sound as though you have had a really scary time and I'm glad you are now on the road to recovery.

God bless and get well soon!
