Good Morning.

Thank you Missie for this lovely tag.

Good Morning it's me again still here and still trying to get well. Things are a lot better now the pains I have had in my chest are abating at long last and the cough has gone. I have been trying to get out and about a bit this week sometimes in the car other times trying to walk a bit, that has been hard as it has been cold and windy this week and it has been difficult to get a breath at times. This morning it was raining too when I walked round for a paper.Enough of of the medical report.
Stuart went out to give the grass its first cut at the weekend, after he had lugged the mower out of the shed got all the wires sorted and plugged in it started up and then bang it blew up. Think the damp of the winter must have got into the wiring or something it was only about four years old so we were not very happy about that. We have been up to the DIY store and bought a new one so that should be us for a while, nothing seems to last these days it's like toasters and kettles they used to last for years, now you are lucky to get a year out of them.
We are way behind in the garden what with me being out of commission and the weather this week we have barely started so we are hoping it will get a bit milder and dryer so we can make a start. Have some seeds to get planted so maybe I will get that done, that should not be too hard for me and just maybe Stu will allow me to do that. I had a surprise this morning I had a Begonia last year and I had popped it into a pot at the end of last summer as it still had a lot of flowers to come, later in the year I put it in the vestibule to rest then a few weeks ago I placed it on the kitchen window and low and behold this morning a lovely little shoot has appeared so hopefully it will go out again in the garden this summer and flower it's wee heart out.
I have been reading journals while I have been ill although not commenting much but have noticed so many seem to have disappeared which is so sad I seem to have lost so many friends, hopefully they will come back it awful to have lost so many from J-land.
Seems to be drying up a bit outside now hope that's the end of the rain for today so till next time. Love,

Joan.

I am happy to hear you are getting better. The warmth and sunshine will help when we eventually get it. I'd never heard of a begonia wintering over like that. What a blessing for you. I too have noticed that fewer are making entries to their journals. Hope your Wednesday is a good one.

I'm glad that you are doing better. I believe once the weather breaks it will make us all feel better. Sorry about the mower, but enjoy the new one.

glad your feeling better, hopefully you'll back to 100% soon. ;)
yes, many seem to have left bloggerville, or just not posting. some have went to facebook or other sites, & some just lost interest after j-land. i had hoped we would all (are most of us) stick together to rebuild. :(
i'm still here, & will be here till they kick me out. lol

Glad your feeling better, and getting out and about a bit. Your right nothing seems to last these days I'm always replacing stuff.

Jland does seem to have faltered off a bit with the move over to blogger I think most miss the alerts, it can be a bit of a pain to see whn someone has updated plus a lot of us are on FaceBook now, and not doing so many journal entries.

Take care

Yasmin

Hi Joan - I think sometimes the reason former J-landers seem to have disappeared is that when they set up blogs on Blogger they changed the name of their blog and now people don't know how to find them.

I daren't say anything about people not posting so often because in my case that really would be the pot calling the kettle black!

Happy your recovery continues.
Love, Angie, xx

Hi Joan, I`m glad you are feeling better now, you must be glad to be putting it behind you at last. It is a shame that people seem to be drifting away but I certainly won`t be going anywhere, I had enough of being moved around...lol! I hope you and Stuart are having a Happy Easter. :o)

Hi Joan, sorry for the late comment.. Mary and I have been away for a few days to Folkestone a quite nice coach tour missed getting to Bruge though as our coach broke down as we got of the ferry at Calais !! so spent time in Calais instead not the place to spend a day really !!
I am so glad that you are feeling better but take care not to overdo things.
I will be up in Scotland week on Wed. just for a few days to see my friend in Elie. hoping that the weather will be a bit warmer
Much Love Sybil xx

I must admit I have been lax about reading journals and I never post as often as I used to because there is not much to say. So many have left and it is very sad. I hope you are having a very happy Easter dear friend.

I'm hoping you're feeling a lot better Joan. People are drifting away from journals now, Blogger just doesn't feel the same as AOL, it was more personal over there. I'm not around so often now, I've been sorting out my home, trying to get it in a reasonable state! Computers take up so much of our time. Have a good week Joan and Stuart. Jeannette xxxx

Blogs I read.
