             **************************

I enjoyed all of those book with the exception of the one I did not finish. Dan Brown’s latest offering (The Lost Symbol) I found very disappointing. If asked which one I enjoyed most I would say it was ‘Forbidden Places’ by Penny Vincenzi.  It was a wartime tale about girls living and working during the last war it was a great story and all 800 pages were full of great story telling. All Penny’s books are nearly 800 pages but they are all so good.

Hope you are having a pleasant Sunday before Christmas its snowing heavy here again so we are tucked up here in the cosy house.  That’s it for today till next time take care on these bad pavements and roads.  Love Joan.

Thanks for sharing that list. I had wondered about the Last Symbol as I've not read it yet. Maybe now I won't bother. No new snow here but it is still below freezing and plenty of old snow still on the ground. Keep warm!

Think there was only one on your list that I've read too. So many books, so little time! Will definitely put Penny Vincenzi on my 'to read' list for next year. Thanks Joan!

Oh Joan, I would like to tuck myself into bed with a stack of those, and a never-ending supply of hot water bottles.

I love reading too, especially Harlan Coben, he's such a good writer and there are so many twists in his books. It looks like a long winter so I hope you have a stack of books to read to pass the time! Jeannette xx

That's a long list of books Joan! I read anything and everything that allows me past its first page. lol
I need to be completely drawn in by page one before I will buy.
It's is bitterly cold here in the Lakes Joan. Much the same as what you are experiencing. The Koi pond is beginning to freeze over and there is hoar frost everywhere.
Stay warm and snug. We intend to.
