Hello.

...............................................................

Hello, I thought I should bring you all up to date with what I have been up to since I disappeared at the end of February.  Nothing much is the answer to that, I have been having a lot of problems with my laptop and and had to have a the PC doctor in to fix it, she recommended that I add some extra memory to it and that seems to have settled it down along with a good clean out of all the rubbish that comes into your PC on the back of things so hopefully things will be better now.

Spring is a long time coming this year we still have snow on the hills around us as I write. We have been promised warmer weather over the weekend so fingers crossed. We did have our first first Swallow this week so things are happening.  We have not been away very much of late staying very local with the price of petrol these days you have to think before you do hundred of miles.  We will need all our pennies for our holidays in just over four weeks time, we are going south to Norfolk in England to our usual cottage for our two weeks of glorious bird watching we hope if the weather is kind and the wind blows from the right direction its all very scientific you know, to bring the migrating birds to the spots we are waiting for them so keep you fingers crossed for us.

We did not have a holiday last year and that in itself was a record as we have had a holiday every year all our life together so it seemed very strange not to go away but circumstances just did not allow for us to be away. So this year we seem to be clear so far.

I think that about it for now hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the Springtime. Till next time Love,

If there's any warmth and sunshine going then Norfolk is usually the place to be. I hope Hampshire might have warmed up by the end of June when we're spending a week in a cottage there.

In case you don't get back on here before then, you have a lovely holiday and take plenty of photos for 'blog fodder'!

It is good to see an entry from you. Those computer woes happen to us all. I had to get a new laptop as I too am having problems with mine. Hopefully now I'll be set for awhile. Your holiday sounds wonderful. I'm looking forward to next weekend when I'll be opening up my camper for the season. We had some nice weather but now it has turned wet and chilly. That is what we get in the Spring though. I'm just so happy winter is over.

I had similar problems with my laptop, Joan. One remains unsolved, but the extra memory has helped a lot.
Have a happy holiday - we haven't had one together since 1969! It all depends on how you define a holiday ;o)

Hello Joan, thanks for commenting on my blog. I've never read any of Penny Vs books (cant remember how you spell her surname!) Ive often wondered what they are like! I have been to Wells-next-to-Sea,we stayed in a little cottage there, I love Norfolk coast. Holcombe is a nice beach too! My brother lives in Norwich so we go visit there in the summer. Hope you enjoy and the weather is good. Laine xxxxx

It's nice to see you back Joan, I looked in a few days ago but you hadn't posted. It's really warm down here in the south now, I've not had heating on for a week and I'm always cold as a rule! I hope it stays like this or gets warmer for your holiday. We're not leaving the UK this year, one trip we have booked is for Fort William and the Isle of Skye. I love Scotland and can't wait to visit your glorious scenery again! Enjoy your bird watching! Jeannette xx

We have been having a sunny few days but not warm enough to sit outside as the breeze has remained chill. It seems so strange to see the flowers out and no leaves on the trees which seem to have been hit really hard.

We have not had a holiday since 1990 so we are used to it but we used to love Norfolk.
